ANON.
CANINE BIOGRAPHY. or Curious & Interesting Anecdotes of Dogs, interspersed with Sketches from Natural History for the Entertainment and Instruction of Youth. "I love dogs, for they are honest creatures, they never fawn on those they love not."
Printed for G. & J. Robinson, London, by W. Meyler, Bath., 1804
Two volumes in one. pp. title. ii. 94. 76. iv. Contemporary quarter cloth, marbled boards; rubbed & soiled; the contents are clean and tight, though slightly browned with age. The book as a whole is tight and eminently "serviceable"; a very good copy. 12mo. An excessively rare item, not in Jones, Hubbard, or Schwerdt. COPAC records just one copy in the British Library. A client, who has compiled a list of 25,000 titles relating to dogs, has never heard of it. D.G.
