Frontispiece and 24 plates, most of them folding. Original contemporary sprinkled calf, hinges rather weak, and top/base of spine rubbed revceling head & tail bands. The extensive contents are perfect. This is the 2nd edition. The first edition (1735) was in 2 volumes. This was produced as a single volume - "With large improvements by several gentlemen well experienced in these noble excercises".... This copy needs skilled restoration of the spine. Rare to find a copy of this in such good order in its original state and complete.
