The bindings are attractive, having a black/gilt map of the area on upper cover, and blind-stamped bear-skin design on lower covers. By far the rarest of this prolific author's titles, in fact most collectors are unaware of its existence. Svanetia is in eastern Caucasus, west of the Black Sea. Contains a healthy degree of hunting - bear, tur[sic], and various other wild beasts. 275pp and 250pp.
