Numerous coloured and other illustrations, including many photos of Kenneth Whitehead in sporting gear and other garbs and events. A hiigh quality production of 115 pages, in the original coloured pictorial wraps. 4to. A remarkable record of one of the most famous characters of the deer world for many decade, and an appropriate record of probably the finest collection of paintings, artifacts etc relating to deer ever compiled. The only problem with this catalogue is that the compilers obviously knew nothing about deer and very little about rural/sporting art; this resulting in the most glaring mistakes, inaccuracies and poor descriptions. Kenneth would have been appalled at this ineptitude; nevertheless, an historically important record of one of the "greats". D G
